couple great trips

went to the private pond fri and sat afternoon and had a blast both days.Started off longlining and caught a bunch and missed a bunch,the ones I caught fri where barely hooked.As the cold front moved in the bite got lighter but continued.I started casting 1/32 with a slow retrieve and got better hookups.Sat afternoon I started off longlining and missed most bites started casting 1/32 bucktails and hooked up most bites.also bgbs blue ice 1/24.most fish 10 to 11 inches.cant find the larger ones.I know there in there I have released all the bigguns I have caught.Kept 7 fri gonna fry um and make some coleslaw and cornbread.

I got a couple of private ponds in Smithfield that I plan to check out later this week. I've caught several really nice bass out of them, but never tried crappie. Can't wait to try.
