Same here. Also, I don't like the fact that you cannot order replacement tips for WM. It's one reason why I prefer B & M.

I agree with what everyone else has said about just using one jig/hook. When You are fishing 6 or 8 poles tight lining, It is easy enough to have a complete conundrum happen with a striper of catfish or brushpile or something. Keeping it simple is probably the best way to go. It minimizes down time when You are tangled and that will in itself help maximize Your presentation time which means in the right location, more fish. I use one jig per line with a 1/2 ounce rubber grip sinker about 18 inches up the line. 1/2 ounce is really all You need for water under 10 feet unless You want to step up the speed. I have never had that much luck with speed spider rigging. just running a slow constant speed will cover a lot of water in a days time and helps ensure a good presentation.CF
