Glad to have you. We have another NC fisherman (Tahoe 50) that joins us. He lives in Currituck. We use to have another (Crappie Farmer) from near Edenton but haven't heard from him lately. For some reason there are not very many crappie fishermen in NE NC but several of us living in SE VA fish down there. Something about the grass greener on the other side of the fence I guess. LOL
Yeh I PM'd Tahoe50, but ain't heard from him yet. I was suprised as I talked to people here. Hardly anyone targets "panfish". Most are striper, white perch, and saltwater fishermen. Which I do to, but panfish'n is how I was raised. It's in my blood...
I'll give up a thirty pound striper to tangle with thirty one pound "panfish" any day.
I'm 95% panfish fisherman. Prefer crappie at most times but I'll take a mess of gills off their beds also. I may fish twice a year for salt water and a couple times for bass but I always revert back to my old ways. ;)Quote:
