    How about some more info on the white buck tails you use. All I can find is the real big ones for salt water.

    bill, i ty my own..1/16 oz unpainted leadhead...1 and 1/2 inches white bucktail hair...red thread.. they are deadly...ask dave!!

    Bill, I get mine from Cabelas, if you want to hand pick some Bishops in Newport News has a big box to go through. The saltwater guys pick the big ones, leave the little ones with fine hair which I think is better for small jigs.

    yeah,get the ones with the fine hair, he's rite about that. and i use danville flat waxed thread from cabela's...#4 model 570 hooks also from them..eagle claw.
