I headed for Toledo Bend before daylight Saturday but did not make the boat ramp. We got to Scarbroughs store less than a quarter mile from Huxley and my truck fuel pump went out. I stop at the little store to see if they had minnows and when I got back into the truck it would not run, what luck. As I waited for my son to bring a trailer to haul the truck back I saw several deer. We even watch a buck breed a doe in the pasture across from the store. Maybe I should have deer hunted Saturday morning. Oh well, it rained on us as we waited, we saw deer and enjoyed a cup of coffee at the little store. Guess the good Lord did not want me to fish Saturday. I do not call that bad luck because maybe it was the good Lord keeping us from a disaster on the water. I will try again later. Maybe I will have a good fishing report to post next time. Good fishing to all
