LOP Report 16 &17th
I had really good luck Thursday on LOP. caught over 25 with 15 keepers, a few were in the 14"range. with most being 12 and 13" the non keepers were about 91/2". had several small bass and one large cat. water temp was 72, with most of the catches in 10-12' water and a few were caught in 17'. fishing was mostly over some of the shallow water condos i put out this summer.
On Friday, i thought i would do even better, it turned out to be a beautiful day for fishing, but thats mostly all i did was fish for them, caught two crappie, several small bass and one small cat. I tried shallow, medium , deep and one local bridge. thats all for now, hope to get out again maybe in November. I'm working 7 12's , have been for most of the summer, but hopefully thats all gonna come to an end soon. I have a few really neat SI pictures to put up, if i can ever get around to it. good fishing to all.

Well, I managed to get out there Sunday for about 3 hours (midday). Brought 12 keepers home. No Good ones just keepers. Only fished for about an hour. Spent the rest of the tme playing with the new 1197..Fish were tight on a brush top on a small break 10-13' of water.
Man, i'm ready for winter fishing on the Pines!..

Hey frogger,were u jig fishing or minnows.This cool weather is got me wanting to go so bad looks like ill slip off friday night after the football game halloween weekend.Frogger im a roughneck hope we have a safe game fri night with no kids getting hurt.Cant wait for winter on LOP.Good luck to all and see yall on the water.

Hey frogg i misslead u im going to lop halloween weekend to do some camping and fishing during the days.Havent done very well on lop at night always liked fork for night crappie.Have had some really good nights there in the past.Hey ive got a father in law and one of his friends coming in this weekend from ohio,where can i get them on some crappie at lop.Gonna get to slip off sun morning to go,gotta love inlaws lets me go FISHING.

Yes, the back is slowly getting better. The 1197 did great, but I've got to do a little tweaking to the transducer position to get it exactly where I want it.... I'm looking at going Saturday, Don't know for sure yet, but sure want to.
