    Welcome to the board Don.

As far as people from the Austin area I don't recall anybody from there. Most of the people that post on here are from the piney woods of east Texas (mostly east of Lake Fork). But if you have any questions please post and we'll do our best to help or contribute our opinions.

Hey Don, FroggerZ is right, there aren't many of us on here; but there are a few.

I live in Bertram, just West of Georgetown on Hwy 29 and Northwest of Austin by 30 miles or so.

I fish Granger primarily, but have started going to Georgetown as well recently. In fact, this Friday, was the first time I was able to fish all Summer (I am an HVAC Tech, Summers are very busy) and I went to Georgetown, my Son and I, and we burned 3 doz minners before midnight. Caught lots of dinks, but ended up with about 15 keepers.
If you have arrived here by accident, I suggest panic!

Hey Don, I'm in Killeen. When I get to fish it's either Belton or Stillhouse. I'm a little like Rat in that I don't get to fish much anymore.

Don - I work in Austin and live in Fayette County. Try to fish Granger a few times a year...haven't hit Georgetown or any of the LCRA or CORPS lakes in the general area.

Holler if you ever want to do some fishing...

Welcome, Don Morey. Don, get Breambuster to show you around, he knows how to find fish. He is my cousin and we come from a long line of serious Sac-au-leit fishermen.

Welcome aboard, don't fish up that far north, mainly fish Lakes Conroe, Livingston, Houston County, Sam Rayburn and Gibbons Creek, But if you have that special honey hole you need help with I'm willing to venture out.:D
