That's good to hear! They must have been having problems with people staking out tons of poles on the bank. I know they had that problem in Nacogdoches when they stocked a little pond here with trout. They have a Kid Fish day there right after they put the trout in every year, and some of the "adults" take it upon themselves to have out as many poles as possible leaving the kids no place to fish.

Couldn't understand because this is nothing new and the Community Fishing Lakes are very small impoundments within cities and towns, not our large reservoirs such as Conroe, Livingston, Nacogdoches, etc.
There were WAY TOO MANY individuals coming to those small freshwater impoundments with 5 or more rods and taking up too much room where others couldn't fish without getting into tangles with the excessive R&R that were already there. That is why there was a limit put on them.
