    Default late afternoon bite

managed to ketch a fair number of crappie yesterday before the bite went south
on brush in about 10 foot of water
didn't really kill a herd ,but the bite was pretty good for winds that high
and ketched way more fish when the wind quit right before dark thirty btw
and the fish ran solid size wise too
let them all go ,ran a jig about 6 foot deep under a float
such is how we do it off the bank ....
and as you might can imagine
    KABOOM is still near

I’ve been starting later in the morning if I can talk em into it! Bite seems to improve as the day goes on this time of year anyhow.

Sometimes some days this seems to be so , seen them bite best in the winter months around noon or so in deep water a few times , likely has to do with light penetration and silhouette situations at extreme depths maybe ?
