ketched a few males the other day that had nothing going on when i boated them

West Texas is bout 50/50 spawned out vs full of eggs. Strange year to say the least.

I saw color in the few I caught yesterday. One was a large male caught a few feet from the rocks. I only fished for an hour yesterday and did not fish today due to the weather.
they came back in on several lakes i hit this last week , go figure
sure are spreading it out this year
