    I think I really need to ease up on my break them necks hook sets
    its always better to hold a fish than just the upper lip of the fish ...
    dont you know
    all kidding aside it makes me actually feel bad ,thought i missed that one and right up on the dock flies an upper lip .
    picked it up and laid it and the jig on the cutting board behind me on the fishing dock .
    i just cant seem to bring myself to the lift gently mode ....just dont seem to be in me for whatever reason ....

    you know every once in a while i ketch a hair lipped one , i imagine some of them live thru it , crappie are survivors often times , some of the winter fish are cut almost in half by the cormorants and i see them later all healed up and doing well
