The fatties came out to play yesterday. This particular lake is extremely shallow, yet grows some of the fastest crappie you will catch up here in the Wichita Falls area. Other larger lakes in the area cant compete with Lake Wichita in terms of fat crappie. Including Arrowhead. 3'-6' down with a small feather jig was the winning ticket. Slow decent was the key.
