They spend most of their time fishing at night off the back deck of the big boat for cat fish. I suspect the traffic will slow down as the newness wears off. But he is an extremely nice guy, which means he has way too many friends. :Rofl You've met him and will know him when you see him.
Problem is that I must find a way to put a lock on the refrigerator until he gets the boat floor replaced with wood and can put a new refrigerator on the boat. As you know I don't like having beer in the deck refrigerators as kids can get into them when I'm not there. People are welcome to the soft drinks and water I keep in the deck refrigerators but I don't want to find myself being a source of beer to underage drinkers, even if they take it when I'm not at the slips.Quote:

Haven't fished the lake in over two weeks. The slips produce a lot of crappie but very few are keepers. Most are under 8". People are catching a lot of catfish, after 11 pm. Not much before then.
H hammered them yesterday , but i think they weren't very large from what i saw.
on a side note i sent a few of what he was using to Slabdaddy yesterday as well :cheers2
That has been the story of the last few months at the slips. Action but very little size.
I wasn't there yesterday. Haven't been at the slips very much this past week. I have told by those who fished the slips this past week that they are catching crappie but very few keepers among those caught. From what I have been told it's mainly under 8 inches with an occasional 12-14 incher in the mix. Very occasional. From what I've been told the few large fish are caught late at night, just outside the circle of green light.
