Had a good day yesterday on Palestine. Found a strong daylight bite before the winds got up on brush. Afternoon was quite breezy but but hid from wind and filled the cooler with some solid east texas slabs on submerged timber and brush. Had one 15" toad that looked like it was full of eggs. Found an almost 6" shad stuffed in its belly at the cleaning station.
