You asked the question and for the life of me I cannot think of it. Was signal in mech INF. Went back in the early 90's to JRTC and did not recognize a dang thing except the front gate. haha. Was there just under a year then to Fort Hood. That was around Nov 87.

Cool. My dad spent some time stationed at Polk. He was a tank guy too. Mostly he was at Fort Hood. The same time as Elvis. Him and his tank were on a landing craft floating on Cubas doorstep during the Missile Crisis.

There are large bluegill and red ear sunfish in Lake Texoma. Learn how to use side scan sonar and you can find them this time of year and in June and July.
Creeks and points in 6-12 foot of water. This is what you are looking for -- looks like the surface of a golf ball :ThumbsUp

Can live scope pick those beds up like that?

Wow. I see the beds, and the grass edge, but where are the fish exactly? I never had a side imaging unit.

Side scan sonar is a gill or cracker fisherman’s best friend.

If you look very closely at the little beds in the colony you will see
a white fleck on some of them. These are the fish. These scans were
taken late in the season so a lot of the individual beds do not have fish.
These scans were taken late last August.

Live Scope will not work for this. Side scan and Humminbird’s 360 only.
