2 things in the post. Fishing and my new boat! haha. Went to buy a new used boat and well ended up with a new bass boat. This was Weds May 1st. I did my two hours of break in and decided I would try and fish for a short bit. By the way, the new 4 stroke engine is not hard to break in, but the fist hour, especially with a hotfoot is brutal as you can only go 1500 RPM's for a hour, then 3000 for the second hour. Anyway, decided to fish so I went to the 155 bridge, dropped about 12 feet down and did a slow troll around the pylons. I caught about 10 in an hour. The next day, I came out again with minnows. Did the same, slow troll under the bridge and limited out with nice sized ones in just over an hour. I have been 2 more times in the last three days and limited out each time. Jiggs (different colors uses) are ok, but minnows are killing it. I have caught close to 90 keepers in the last week and probably thrown back 25-30. I did not get pics of them, but I got some today with just 10, that is all I could carry at one time to the cleaning station in a small bucket and took a selfie with my first fish in the new boat. Hope this helps. Sorry I also have to show the boat off! :-)

BTW, just looked at the pic and the fish look small, but the smallest I had was 13 inches, so I guess a disclaimer should be made. FISH APPEAR SMALLER IN PICTURE THAN IN REAL LIFE.

Thank you! Well unfortunately I did that already, throwing the hammer down and scared the crap out of myself. haha. After the 2 hours of break in you can go full throttle but not for more than 5 minutes at a time for another 8 hours. I got up to 69.9, stopped and changed my underwear. I guess I need to learn to bass fish or this will be the most expensive crappie boat in history!

Well everybody, I was at the boat ramp today at Palestine and had the pleasure of having this boat pull up beside me. It is even better looking in person than the pictures. Had an opportunity to meet Chris for the first time. Class act. He gave me the crappie he and a friend had caught and then helped me clean them. Thank you, sir!
