In the ft worth area the crappie are for sure up in lots of spots , got reports coming in and finding fish up on the bank myself all over the place. At least 4 lakes I know of have spawners in short waters and they are becoming more aggressive daily . The little fronts blowing thru make it a bit dicey from day to day and night to night but for sure there are fish doing it around town .
if you have a spot you like in the spawn around ft worth I suggest you go give it a try in the next week
it has begun ....

We just need a break in water coming and going! When they have to open flood gates it just is not a good thing and they have been open to one degree to another for a while now! At least some catching when they get down to just 5 gates open one foot each, but right now we have 11 open 2 feet each, but at least down from open 3' each.
