A couple months ago a all pink hand tie jig was a for sure EXCELLENT jig that I was using on my home lake, these crappie fish are the finickiest fish you can chase.
Sometimes color is the difference between catchn or not, sometimes it don't matter what color you drop but when it does matter be prepared....
More times than not location & action means more than color....
Main thing is have fun and ENJOY THE HUNT....
I posted some vids that may help you if you look through some of the past post here.
Actually my last vid was on the subject of jig color.....

Your talking soft plastics, but I use hand ties and can tell you my favorites, but also know there are things like water clarity and sun shinning to not that will make a huge difference.
So here are my favs with water condition noted:
Water is stained, but not bad, but can't see my jig 3' down yet....Chart/Blue/Chart and #2 is XHArt/Black/Chart
Water is clear which for me means I can see my jig 3' down or more.....Silver/Silver/FL Blue and there are several that will fall at #2
Now it rains like crazy and the water is super stained, maybe see down 1 ' or 1 1/2' then I want Flame Red/Black & Chart/Hot Orange
The above are all 1/32 oz Roadrunner/Pony head type marabou tail baits and used in the Spring and Fall.
You mentioned Pink, Have had good luck in a all Hot Pink Jig! (Of course the all Hot Pink jigs need FL Red Body, lol)!
See Picture Below for my favs! I have some here I didn't mention, but are also good!
Had to come back and mention that bottom one can be a killer in most any water at times! Blue/White is a killer!

I typically pocket 4 main colors or 5 with me and carry no tackle box 90% of the time . I also typically ketch crappie at an alarming rate .......:Rofl
don't fall for the bla bla bla posted up about it has to be this or that on whatever lake and they "only" want whatever .....
carry something natural that's got sparkle and looks real
carry something dark that's got some black blue or brown in it
carry something ridiculous bright chart predominantly
and I like a bright orange sometimes as well ....
sometimes even just plain old vanilla white ...
light and or lack of plays a roll in this for sure in some cases as does water clarity

I have an assortment of jigs plus I am picking up minnows today for the outing Friday and Saturday. I think the weather will have plenty of a factor also. Thanks

HaHaHaHaaaaaa..... this is funny.....
Just have FUN & ENJOY however you catch, just keep those lines wet....
Don't have to get all serious about one encouraging others of the most satisfying way to accept a challenge of putting the best fish to chase on the end of their line.... WOW
Sound like you're willing to have a fish off? Lake Conroe, summer time, you and the minna & me and my personally hand tied jigs?
Not picking a fight just having fun like always:biggrin:cheers2

so let me better understand this ....you know what colors work on every lake and then you use minnows ....maybe I missed something
brains will out do that other body part all day long btw .......rotfl

Moderators? My post was to ask about colors with minnows as a go too. I do not and will not condone people bashing or turning a topic that is not their own into their personal issues with others. For the respect to myself and others do not hijack another person's topic. Please keep this professional and respectful. Response that is on here as of late is nothing of the sort.
This turns others off to posting or asking questions.
