Default Which part of Sam Rayburn?

Which part of Sam Rayburn do you guys like to crappie fish? I tend to fish the Hwy 147 bridge area (north and south of it), whereas my brother likes to fish the San Augustine Park area (San Augustine to Powell Park area). I've tried several times around San Augustine, but just never seem to be able to find the fish. When all else fails, I always seem to be able to catch fish at the bridge, but have found several brush piles in the area that hold fish from time to time.

It's been too long since I fished Rayburn to be of any help, but I do hear a lot about the bridge! However depending on time of year I would also think there should be some good fishing around the Farmers Flat area? Especially spring and maybe fall, just not sure. Then I would look on the East side down there, maybe not a long ways from Twin Dykes?

The bridge is always my fall back place to go. Went Sunday and wound up with 22. Guess I just need to scout the east arm more. I know there's tons of brush piles there, just haven't been able to find them.

Now keep in mind I have not been on there in years, but if my memory serves me right if you go up that East arm close to the West side there was some channel markers and I think that I was told they put some where the markers were.
