We are thinking of going to Lake Fork next spring. Can any one tell me about campgrounds & if they have boat launches.
We would like to do a double bubble Crappie & Bass thinking we need a guide for 1 - 2 days.
Thanks for any info

Just came back from Fork yesterday. Stayed at North Shore RV Park, just off of highway 19. Excellent ramp. Don SR. and Don Jr. good as they come.
Most all the folks with boat docks around there load up on big crappie in the spring. There is a guide service very close to the park, His name is Butch, the Guide Service name escapes me but something to do with fishing and hunting hogs. One of the lower priced Guides and I talked with a couple that went out with them and caught a lot of fish (bass) and that night the Woman killed a hog, think it cost $125 each for the man and his wife. Don has 1 ac pond on park with bass, crappie and catfish stocked. Pretty place. 5 miles to Emory, 15 to Sulphur Springs, easy trailering to other ramps and parts of the lake.
Just whatever you do don't be a fool....there are clearly marked boat lanes that are clear but you get outta them boat lanes and it's stumpy...i 'found' a new stump yesterday in 37' in the middle of nowhere! It's an unbelievable lake-feel free to get at me b4 or when you get here and I'd be more than happy to let you know what we are doing at that time both for slabs and bass. If you've never been here bring extra shorts with ya cuz it's even better than you can imagine! Tight lines-
