Thinking about trying my speckle skills out this weekend but wondering what the conditions on the lake are like currently. Muddy, full of logs, etc. Thinking about launching from Lake Houston Marina or Ponderosa. For a first timer to the lake which would you suggest? I've heard that Luce Bayou can be good for slabs. Just not trying to test out my pushing skills from running aground. Thanks for the help.
