    Default Crappie Boats

I know you can use almost any boat for crappie fishing but I would like to see what you use here in Texas to chase them so Post some pics.

I fish a 1625 Lund (2007): 55lbs Terrova (Bow) 55lbs Endura (Stern), various sonars and other odd & ends... Ordered a special paint job, no paint on the bottom and Lund Red above the water line. Went with walk thru windshield to keep me and my partner dry and warm.

I have a 16 ft Kenner cc. with a 88 Johnson. Don't have pics of it here at work. If I am not on mine then I am on my dads 24ft pontoon.

I Just got my Lund Crappie Edition last year and the lay out was designed by a guide/tournament fisherman from Dallas area and set up for team tournament fishing. I absolutely love it.

The Walleye/Multi species style boat works great for Crappie fishing. I've run several brands/models from 17-21'. Crestliner/welded and Lund/riveted are my favorite two makes. They both have Crappie edition (triple seating) up front available.
Any boat will work but I want something that is roomy, stable, deep sides for safety/comfort and gives me a smooth ride in rough water.

Mine is just like the Bass Tracker in the first post following yours but with a different name on it.

Mine is a Traveler 17'8'' all welded aluminum with 40 HP Johnson rigged for crappie fishing.

Good electronics is key. I have a Humminbird 787C2 with two mount stations. One on the console and the other up front. I now wish I had held out for one of the new side imaging units. Still might put one of those on the console.
