Yeah, but Ketchin .... the Crappie are on a Fall feeding run in Oct, whereas the White Bass are "spawning" when they run up river in January. Fall feeding Crappie will follow the easiest source of food, even if that food travels quite a distance. It happens in lakes, as well ... like when the food starts heading into the backs of coves & creeks in the Fall, some Crappie will follow them in (and back out, a lot of times).
