    Default Conroe Report 6-1-2015

Got out last night again to try my luck and see what I could catch. I wasn't targeting anything specific. I just wanted to see what all I could catch. I was not disappointed one bit as the night started with a double on the first pole I put in. Then went to jigging and caught a nice 14.5" crappie! After a bit of thumping and catching dinks (about 14 all in all), I went about trying to find some bream. Didn't catch as many as the other night but caught about 25 over all and kept 3 nice big ones to fry up. I caught 3 catfish but threw them back. I caught 7 LMB near an underwater light someone had near their dock. The fish were circling the light and attacking any bait fish that got in the light. Have video of it..cool stuff. Caught a few small strippers as well and threw them all back with the bass. Come morning the bite slowed downa nd I headed home satisfied. Going to go out again Wed or Thur again. Hope you all get out and catch a few too!!
