Toledo Bend Report
Well guys the water came back up again to over 173' and again couldn't life my boat out of the water completely. Bummer and would have had to wade in water to get to my boat. Now it's finally back near full pool at 172.3 or so and I can now get to my boat and hope they can keep up with the water still coming in with rain still coming! I know the people South of us have had it bad as our flood gates were open a lot and dumped on them big time!
Fishing has been better when the gates are not open and now they are open less than they were, but still open. I know some are still catching crappie in tree tops and slow trolling.
So if we can ever get this water thing better it should get back to normal. Refuse to complain about the rain though because I would prefer having a little too much than none at all like we had for a while.
I also know the bass have been pretty good as well and had some friend go over to the Big Bass Splash last weekend I think it was and the little time they were there a fish over 53 took 15th place for that hour, LOL! Also 2 fish in the 11 pound size came in.
