Going to be in E. Texas (96 and 103) next Monday and Tuesday to help out B' n-law and fill deer feeders. Hope to hook up with a couple of you E. Texas guys.

Looks like my trip to E Texas has changed. B' n- law needs to go to doctor on Monday. I will be staying in Houston Monday and Tuesday to do painting and repairs to house there. Might make a quick turn around trip with sister to take items to their homestead in E Texas.


Have 11 days off in September, so will see you then.

Okay Danny, will hope to be here then. I know my wife wants me to take her to Dallas in Sept, but don't know when. We had planned on going this coming weekend, but that hit a snag so not going there now. I do know if I don't take her to see them twins soon she is going to burst!

Hope you have a great trip to Dallas... I did make it to E Texas, but just long enough to unload 6 x 12 trailer and then back to Houston. I plan to be out that way again between Sept 7th through 17th. maybe we can hook up then. Hope to hook up with Ferdi as well.

Wanted to post these earlier, but had computer malfunction (new HD). Didn't get to do any fishin' in E Texas this trip, but took a half gallon of filets to Houston to cook up for sister and brother n law. They really enjoyed and so did I. Tried some double batter this time... I prefer the lighter crust. Anyway a good time for all!

Will do... Should be leaving Sunday again, but with B-n-laws health, it could change. Looks like I will be changing out a water heater and getting water treatment equipment for water well either working or upgraded. Still need to fill deer feeders. Got 11 days off so hope to get all this done, do a little visiting and a little fishing as well. See you then..
