    Default Rayburn report...5/31 14

Went to my favorite crappie holes in the Shirley Creek area this past weekend..Only caught 12....5 keepers..Bite was really slow. Lake is up almost a foot since last weekend. I guess the fresh high water has givin the crappie lock jaw. The ones we did catch were in 20ft of water , biting at 8 ft..gonna try them again Saturday...good fishing to everyone.

seems this year has just been different and probably due to the winter going for so long and having ice and snow falling places it normally doesn't. I know this place has probably never seen snow 4 times in one year, but that is what we got plus some sleet. They have been different the entire yearn but we still caught plenty.
