Did an overnight at Somerville. Started out at 8 pm on Tuesday night and winds were still high (10mph). Did some structure scanning around the island near Overlook and fished some piles I set a few months back. Caught 3 small and one keeper on Jig with minnow. At 11 pm went to north side of lake near Big Creek and sat on a bunch of crappie and whites. Caught 48 total crappie and kept 15 all over 11". Caught on minnows and jigs 8-12 feet down in 19 fow around structure. Also landed 11 white bass and kept 7 over 12" using minnows. The whites really put up a fight! Crappie were biting light and up lifting my line or bobber most of the time. Jig colors were black/char and glow in the dark. Water temp was 66.3 with hardly any winds the rest of the morning. Left at 8:30 feeling good and tired! Didn't take many pictures as I was having too much fun catching them. Did film a video of the plankton and minnows circling the boat from my lights on the side but I have to edit it as it is very big. You could see crappie coming up and attacking the minnows every once in a while. It was fun to have the lights on for a while then turn them off real quick and you can hear the fish attacking the minnows on the surface all around the boat! I turned the lights back on and all you see is little waves in the water where the fish were biting the minnows. It was cool!

It is good seeing reports on the Texas site. Would be posting myself if I was fishing. Thanks, Ferdi
