Default Moving to Austin TX from Sacramento CALIFORNIA

I'm heading to Austin TX & looking for new fishing buddies. I can't wait to find another 12ft boat. I have 2 kayaks that are rigged up for fishing.

My wife is transferring with Apple so I'm hitting the grinding wheel looking in for work also.

I'm into bass, crappie, trout and even catching my own crawdads/crayfish/crawfish I'll miss the Salmon fishing and I can't wait to go ocean fishing in the gulf coast.

Hope you enjoy our great state of Texas! Welcome!

Well the Gulf Coast you should have a long of fun, both North and South of Corpus Christy. I lived very close to Corpus for 11 years and lots of great bay fishing for red fish and Speckled Trout as well as flounder. Actually the Gulf coast is pretty darn good all the way to Florida and passed, but the water in the middle area is not so pretty like it is around Corpus, but they still have tons of fish, I am talking from say around Orange Texas and over into Louisiana. Been too long since I fished around Houston/Galveston so don't know about that one. The rest is awesome fishing!

I live o ver on Toledo Bend on the border of Texas and Louisiana so not close enough to you to help much on fishing around Austin. I do know a guide that lives not so far from there though.
