    Default Lake Fork?

Anyone from down there fish it much for Crappie? I used to come down with my Dad and Bass fish years ago and we would catch some dandy Crappie when the Bass were slow. Gonna head down possibly this next March or April and try to Crappie fish again and was wondering if that was peak time frame or not for the Spawn. Any info would be great Thanks.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Fork is a great crappie lake year round and you might catch the tail end of the spawn in that time frame. Late Feb thru March is probably best depending on the weather.

Hogster, you might even consider driving a little farther down the road to Tawakoni. Consistently bigger crappie there as a rule.

Oilwell Bay, Lake Fork Creek, Running Creek, Garret Creek and even Birch Creek would probably be good during the spawn. Just depends on how much rain we get between now and march.
