    Default Lake Fork Crappie

Ok you Texas anglers I will be headed to Lake Fork the end of May for a week of crappie fishing and I need help

Need to know the hot jig colors to fish and depths. I will be fishing the Williams Creek area.

I wouldn't normally be asking but I'll be travel 8 hours from South Louisiana and I'm trying to shorten the learning curve

    Thanks for any info

Comeby our Lake Fork Trophy Lures store on Hwy 69 and 515 - just a few miles from Lake Fork and introduce yourself to us as we would love to meet you. Our "Live" Baby Shad (LBS) are just killing them here as you can see by the other posting on Crappie.com listed at "7 Best weighing 14.90 pounds. They were all caught on our LBS. Also, you can go to our Facebook page - "LFTlures Crappie" and see many other pictures of crappie, bass, carp, etc caught on the LBS.

Right now, the chartreuses are hot colors - Chart. Glo, Chart Pearl, Limetreuse, and then the pinks- Pink Pearl & Electric Chicken, and the Plue Pearl. And orange is starting to come in - Fire Pearch and Sun Perch. You can check out these colors of LBS on our website at www.LFTlures.com

If you stop by the store when you come in, we will give you the latest crappie fishing reports as our Pros come in all the time and tell us what colors, depths, and whether under the bridges, fishing timbers, shallow - whatever is working - and we will pass it all along to you to help you get the best results possible.

Hope this helps you. If we can be of any other help to you, just let us know. Have a safe trip here and we look forward to meeting you! What part of Southern Louisiana are you from?

Great, we look forward to meeting you! My husband, Ronnie (Owner of LFT) and I used to live in Lafayette, and I was raised in New Orleans, so you had my interest in being from South Louisiana!
