Default Caddo - Big Green Brake - Anyone Fished It?

Going to Caddo in a couple of weeks. Have heard great things about Big Green Brake but never fished it. Just wondering if any of you have?

It appears to be very large on the map. Is there one area that is better than others? East side, North side, edges or go into the middle?

Thanks in advance for any info.

I quit fishin' Caddo when TP&W reported high mercury levels in the fish.

Don't know what the situation is there now. I'd check with TP&W before I planned
on keeping fish for consumption. The area is absolutely beautiful to fish and super
easy to get lost if you don't take precautions. Have done lots of photography
there but the distance to drive was too much since I quit fishin' there.

I too have to drive 6 hours to get there. We always stay a few days to make the trip worthwhile. Love the scenery and the bream. We catch and release so not worried about the Mercury levels.
