Lake Tyler east and west

I use to fish the lakes on a pretty regular basis back in the 90's when i was bass fishing alot. i quit bass fishing and went to running lines on the rivers for cats, now i'm trying to get into crappie fishing regularly.
These lakes are about 30 min away and wanted to try them, any tips and reports would be greatly apperciated.
