What a great weekend of fishing. I got spend Saturday fish will all the Luce Bayou Boys. We battled the wind all day but managed to catch some really nice fish. They also let me catch 17 catfish of thier dock while they cleaned fish. These boys have them catfish trained only took 15 minutes to catch 17. Now that’s how crappie guys do it. Why spend all day messing with jugs, trotlines, slimy shad, and stink bait when you can catch crappie all day them pickup 20 pounds of catfish in 15 minutes. We all went to a big fish fry at skier’s cove after that. What a great day!



Larry Nine Lives and I went out on Conroe Sunday. We put in at Cagle around 7:30 and proceeded to get pumled by the wind. That made it difficult to fish the areas that I wanted to target. We left there around 11:30. We went by the bait shop and Lochness Marina and put up fliers for our tournament. We got to check out the facilities and meet the staff. You guys are going to like this one. After that we drove around to look at water levels in some old spawning areas. Most where un-fishable but, low and behold, my secret hole had just enough water to bring some nice fish in. Nick Came by and hung out with us. We caught 7 fish in an hour or so. We left the lake at 4:00pm and left some big fish in my secret hole.
