Fished Luce bayou twice in Jan. mid month was cold and fishing was slow . Nothing to brag about . 8 keepers for all day fishing . Only one was 12 1/2 " . On the 26th weather was OK but the water was cold and silty because of heavy rain in the area a few days before . Fish were holding close to cover in about 15' of water . Virtical jiging slow-moving landed me 9 keepers . They are still hitting (chart. glit. trip tip) grub and red-black-white jig too in silty water. Hope weather will be better in Feb. :rolleyes: coldest month of year for this area.
