Just want to get my two cents in.My wife and i are avid crappie fishers,we have sometimes thought about entering crappie tourneys on LOP.But what happened yesterday on LOP i have my doubts. We were fishing when a boat approached us offering us free fish,we refused because we catch and keep waht we can eat.The guys in the boat said they had there limit and were fishing a tourney and wanted to keep fishing,we watched as they approached several more boats to get rid of fish.Seems like its unfair if they keep fihing to get a bigger bag to weigh.Thought u had to keep your 25 u catch, well anyway we caught 50 with 2 at 15".had a lot of fun.

I wish one of the boats that they approached would have snapped a pic of them and posted it.. Most tourney fishermen are fine honest folks. It is disappointing to hear that something like this is happening.
Yep, I would like a discription of the boat..
It was a black ad white triton.Wished i would have got his TX numbers,i would have poasted it.I didnt agree with what him and his partner were doing at all.Im a firm beleiver if me and the wife can only catch 25,thats what we bring home.Idont know what tourney he was in,but i wish we would have entered it.We had 7 crappie that i think would have been hard to beat, and once again my wife put it on me.Hard to compete with someone that gives 30 away and catches 30 more, surely he could build a big stringer.
I put on a tournament last week and I also knew about one being held at Island View. I don't think they were in mine but it still greatly disturbs me that someone would do that. It shows very little moral character for the individuals that did this not to mention it's against the law.
