Good haul. I have been catching mine on or near the channel out from Hurricane Creek. I have also been launching there, so I can't clearly see down to the dam to see boats there. How close to it are you are you fishing and how deep is the water in that part of the lake?

Not far at all, never more than 500 yards or so from it last few times out. mostly catchin in the 25 to 30 ft range. Been trolling channel right off the dam untill finding fish on the fish finders, then turning upwind and drifting back across fishin just off of bottom. Had most luck with minnows but caught few on jig.
How's the Hurricane Creek area workin for you?

It has been real good up there. Catching limits or near limits on almost every trip. It is different almost every trip as to where they are located, but once you find the right depth of water, you have found them for most of the day. We have been catching some really nice fish up there with very few dinks.

Have to check it out next time out. little to crowded by dam although had some luck there. I'm shootin for this weekend. I run a little 16ft fiberglass river hawk. Resembles a canoe with a motor. It's really good at gettin anywhere.
