    Default Rayburn today

I havn't been out in a while but managed to go today. Fished by myself and stayed out way to long but had fun. Hit a lot of holes and came up dry on several. Managed 4 on one hole, the 3 biggest on another hole and the whiskered Crappie made me mad so I showed him how I take care of fish that mess up my equipment.
I caught all the Crappie in 15-19 feet of water fishing 6-8 feet down with minnows. Couldn't buy a bite deeper or shallower. Water temp is still up there 82-85 degrees with all the rain coming in even. Maybe this cold front might help things some. Oh I was North of Jackson Hill. Ferdi aka Fred
Thanks crappiepappie, I knew something was different but couldn't figure out what. Ferdi aka Fred

Nice mess there Fred. I know they are still in pretty deep water here too, but I have not been enough to say more than that, LOL.

Nice catch Ferdi, you caught more than I did. I have not been fishing since the rain started. I sure thought the water would be cooler than 82-85

    Default Cold Front might help

This cold front that's coming in now might help drop the temps some. There is a probability of rain for the next 6 days but the temps are to get into the 80's everyday so won't really know till someone gets out after the front and rain stops. I'm ready and needing to fish. I also need to make a bunch of BOO Buckets to set out. Really need to learn where to set them so I think I'll study the maps a bunch and see what I can come up with.
Skip I will be hollering at you before long and see when we can get together.
Joe give me a shout when you're around. If you want to take your friend(that doesn't do well on boats) out on Rayburn, just give me a holler and we will take him out on my pontoon.
You all take care, Ferdi aka Fred
