    Talking Watts Bar 4-12 09

Me and the wife put in at Paint Rock (Pole Cat) around 1pm. Ran down to a creek about a mile above Kingston Steam Plant. Fished for 3 hrs. nothing! Started to leave and decided to try shallow. Caught 3 crappie in 3ft. of water. One was 15" and another was 14 1/2". Caught 2 more 13".
I didn't catch many but the one's I did get were huge.

Good size crappie. I caught 9 good ones at Ft. Loudon Sat and 4 today. I have never fished watts bar. Can you recommend good boat launch area?

If I'm going to fish the lower end of lake I'll put in at the dam on Hwy.68 and on the upper end I usually put in at Paint Rock off Hwy. 72. Yes the one on my right is a female she was full of egg's and on my left was a male (15").
