    Default douglas 4/11/09

sinkum and i fished douglas today the bite was slow ended up with up with 10 keepers and a few short fish wind made it difficult to control speed fish were suspended at 12 ft not a bad day considering the weather felt good to spend a day with a good buddy.

IT was good to see ya'll! we got a late start ,we did manage a couple of keepers!I called it quits earlier than I would have liked to but I didnt want to get in the middle of all the green carp fishermen at the ramp.I think we are going to give it a try again tomorrow after Church!

Nice catch guys and good seeing ya'll today. I went down the lake got 5 and later that evening went back out Indian creek caught 8 more. The crappie eggs are big and looking ready.
It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

fished douglas also today, 1st time in a month.I probley saw and maybe even talked to some of you but not sure.took a young boy with us who had to leave for a birthday party at 11;30, we fished from 7;30 till then and had 3 fish, and when he left he wanted them so we gave them to him.so now its 11;30 we are cold and that 5 to 10 mph wind is not our fren, more like 15 to 20.since we haven't been in so long we struck back out, ended with 29 in mcguire, pulling 2 1/32 was the ticket, thought we had 30 but miss counted, realizing we had 29 we tried one more pull caught 4 short fish, this was the case of a miserable day turning into a good day.we caught even number of males and females.

Glade to see all of you got to go yesterday, I wanted to go myself but got tied up. Planning on fishing everyday next week that it's not pouring down the rain. Maybe I will see some of you out there, we need to get Crazy 55 to get us some Crappie.com stickers to put on our boats, then maybe we will know each other.
