I went up to Woods Res today to check out the water level and was shocked at how low it is. I have heard that there was something wrong with one of the water locks, but I personally do not know if they let all the water out on purpose or was to fix it or what. All I do know is that the water level is lower than I have ever seen it there. I would guess it around 4 feet more than usual. I checked out a couple of docks and seen that you can still put in at Franklin Co park, however it is very tough. Also was told to keep it as close to the dock as possible because the left side drops straight off over there. Fishing today was very slow with only 1 guy I spoke to caught any fish. He said he caught 3 and they was spread out throughout the day and fish was deep. I plan to go tomorrow and will post if I have any luck. I been wanting to know about the water level on Woods so I just decided to check it out for myself. Please be cautious if you have an 18 foot bass boat or bigger cause it is going to be tough reloading.

Thanks for the report. Hope they get it fixed before long. Don't know but I'd think it would take some good rain to get the water back up 4 feet.
You will become like those with which you associate.
I forgot to say that I also spoke with an angler from up that way and he told me that they are not planning on raising the water level back up at woods till sometime in April. Guess we will have to hope for some rain because 6 more inches down would prevent most of us from launching there.
