Decided to fish at Britton Ford today and got a late start. When I got there around noon, I noticed there were about fifty trucks at the ramp and what I thought was a state Game Warden in a green tahoe.
I had a good day and caught 23 but only five keepers.
Anyway the purpose of this thread was to see if either everyone else is catching way more fish than I am or is it common for a federal game warden to work this area. I am glad they are doing there job but have never saw a federal warden checking for fishing violations.

Some of the State Wardens have green tahoes in that area also.
Yes I work with alot of the state game wardens but this lady was a federal warden and she was checking fishermen, the youth duck season was last week. Like I said, glad to see them doing their job just never knew the checked crappie fishermen.
There aren't any female Feds in the TN area. My office is next to theirs in Nashville.

I though the Feds only showed up on the migratory stuff. What do I know?

They do. Feds don't regulate any state regulated fishery.

Guess she was looking for something in particular but she had one gentleman pulled aside and running his info over the radio.
