Default What DO YOU Think-East Tenn

What do you think about starting an East Tenn Crappie Club and getting us a East Tenn Club Forum under the State Forum? I like all the Crappie Fishermen in Middle and West Tenn, but for me to read a post about Reelfoot Lake is good reading but not possible for me to go there and fish in a day's time and their way of catching fish is different from our's, meaning they will be catching 2ft deep and we will be 30ft deep. Under this new Forum, you will be able to click on it and tell in an instant if anyone local has been fishing and the info will be more of use for the local fisherman. This is not to take anything away from Middle and West Tenn's you can post there also, maybe we can get three clubs across the state and have a big Tournament once a year. Heck it's closer to my Daughter's house in Mich than it is to Reelfoot Lake. (P.S. I still like to go there but it's a Vacation for Me).

no prob. with y'all starting your own club and all but I think the separate forum is unnecessary. Splitting up would make both TN boards less active and more boring. If you get too jealous of all them Reelfoot boys, don't click on their threads, esp. if they have pics attached!!:D

Middle Tennessee has both highland and lowland reservoirs. For instance, I can fish one end of Priest that reminds me of Douglas and it have 42 degree water, and then fish the other end and it be 55 degrees and 2 ft of water.

Me personally, I rarely go to the main board. I click on the Tennessee board, and pay more attention to tactics and techniques based on water temp/clarity/and depth rather than pictures or "honey holes."
    Fish on!:D

    Thumbs up

I Would Love To Have A Club That Fished A Tour. Maybe Once A Month AND Twice During Peak Times And Go To The Area Lakes And Maybe Get A Trip Up Once A Year @ Weiss Or Reelfoot, Or Ky Lake For A Change Of Pace For A Weekend. But I Like The Tn. Board The Way It Is Myself.and I Vote For Speck To Be President!!

A seperate forum isnt necessary. I could maybe see it if there were a 100 or so new posts made per day, but theres not.
