Does anyone know what happened to all the money that the east tn crappie ass. had collected went Dr. Jim Pless had started the nursery project and I thought Tim Nicely was in charge after that. I realize that they can't do it where they had planned BUT there is alot of money that is out there somewhere?????????????????????to help the crappie in Cherokee!

Excellent question Sow. My buddy Russ Bailey did a show with Tim a few years back. Tim talked up the crappie hatchery big time. Said Cherokee would soon be the premier crappie lake in the country, not the state - I have it on video to prove that statement. He was very confident that this hatchery would be a huge success. Somehow they would be able to release the fish directly into the lake via canals rather than truck. Sounded awesome to me. I can't find a thing on it - thanks for asking this very interesting question.
