went to cherokee after church today the bite was slow but man it was a beautiful day ended up with 8 slabs and three hybrids water temp was 41 fish were on the bottom 24 ft deep

Speck - nice fish man. I've cleaned and cooked a few of those Cherokee Hybrids. This time of year they are pretty decent. Good to see you boys are back on the fish at Cherokee. I have been so damn busy with work I have not been able to go. But, ya gotta make hay while the sun shines I guess. I'm going to try hard to get down there this weekend. I have a couple that I need to take for a charity trip. They donated a hefty sum to my local charity and I owe them one. Sounds like it would be a good time to do it. Thanks again for all your help and reports and pictures. Keeps me motivated!

I have been sitting outside your house waiting for you to hook up and go fishing so I can find out where you are catching those fish.

Speck that 2 days in row for you catching slabs. Looks I'm going to have to reduce vacation on Friday and give it try on Cherokee. What about you??
