There are a lot of people without power and need our prayers. Our Wal-mart in dyersburg ran out of water today because people without power were trying to stock up. I hear some folks could be without power for 2 to 3 days. We hauled 180 cases of Aquafina water out there around 3 pm today and it was gone in 10 minutes. Lets all keep them in our thoughts and prayers.

We dont have power and it looks like its gonna be a couple of days. Generators and gas logs is the only reason i can stay at my house.

Heard in KY it may take a week or longer to get them all electric again.
We have been without electricity since early Tuesday morning. It looks like a bomb has been dropped here, but I am very fortunate that we were prepared(stocked op on propane and gasoline). There are several familys that were not so fortunate (no heat or water) and lots of damage.
I know what you mean. We were without power 2 weeks a few years back when an ice storm hit here. Right after that I went out & bought the gas burning logs. Hard to keep wood fire going & keep it hot enough.

Its been 4 days now but feels like 4 weeks. Good news is that I still have plenty of crappie frozen and I also saw a few street lights working on the other side of town when I was on my way to work tonight. I can tell peoples fuses are getting a little shorter but I think most are making it ok.
i work for a fire dept and we have word that around rural reelfoot lake it could be 30-45 days before some of our residents get power back thankful that churches and other org. are helping out

Yes, I know. It must of been pretty bad from Dyersburg & up towards Murray. I work @ Sams in Jackson & a number of folks up that way were buying generators today.
