Smyrna Police has to be 1 of the worst police forces in the nation. But hey if i was doing what they were doing making 12 to 15 bucks an hr i probably wouldnt be any better

That's not a whole lot of $$$ to risk life and limb daily.

I watched a gentlemen go outside of the building he worked in and eat his lunch by a small pond, he would take bread to the decoys eveyday for about two weeks. Someone finally explained to him why the ducks were not eating. I just did not have the heart.
As for the police, if someone is trying to hurt you or your family i doubt it will matter if they are duck experts. I say cut them some slack, a really smart person would not be willing to put his life on the line daily for a complete stranger.

Well I do cut some slack but they are normally the ones I know that are good and honest ones.Not the ones that are trigger happy and ignorant.I have seen one that comes around and patrols the ramp I use in LaVergne he is there daily no matter if there is boaters there or not patrolling the parking lot.I talk to him and thank him everytime I see him.But for one to see decoys on the pond like that and think they are real ducks please that will be the decoys I need to put out.I can tell alot of difference between and real duck and decoy heck my daughter can.

Oh would you cut some slack to a cop that committed a federal crime and kill way over his limit on woodducks because he thought he could get away with it since he was on private property.There was a Jackson cop that did that.I dont respect him one bit.

My sister lives in LaVergne and I sympathize with you. I have heard her stories too. But I guess like any profession there are bad apples everywhere.
As for the one in Jackson that killed all of the woodducks, I don't think you ever have to worry about him having a badge or gun again.

Nah and I am good we dont have to worry about him anymore.I seen the picture and it was just sickening that some people would do that to the ducks out there.I am a duck hunter and I only take my limit.Matter fact I got nervous this year about them closing the killing of canvasback ducks so I didnt hunt much at all this year cause I didnt want to kill something I wasnt suppose to.After I read what I posted I kinda sounded like a butthole and sorry for that.I need to watch what I say in the mornings when I am on here after working all night.
