Default Where to stay at Reelfoot lake

Me and some buddies will be making our first visit to Reelfoot this March. We are getting together to catch up without the wives and kiddies for some fishing and to watch the NCAA tournament games at night. We would like a house/cabin with a porch and a kitchen. I have looked around and the two that look the best are Boyettes Resort and Cypress Point Resort.

I welcome any input you guys have on these places or any other places.

    Thanks

i got to reelfoot every year in march witch this year will be 27,28,29...call the good people down at sportsmens resort they have tons of cabins and even a huge cabin and the rates are better then anyone on the lake...you can pick to stay on the north side or south side since they a resort on both sides of the lake but if your going in late march i would stay north side since the bite seems better up there this time of year but if you go sooner i would say south side since the deeper water is down there...hope this help you out and good luck on your trip

    Default reelfoot

he is right the deepest water on the north end is probably 6-8 feet right now and i believe early the fish will be biting in the deeper water i stay at sportsmans once a year and although not luxurious it is good enough for some rural fishermen

Call Rick Spicer at southshore resort. Sit on the porch and watch the sun set on the lake. The pier resturant is in walking distance. Cabins about 4 years old. Stayed there in Nov. and are very nice. Cable tv and all. Located at Samburg.

I too like the north side. My wife and I stay at Grays Camp. I like the north side and greys in particular because i rent a boat. There is a canal right next to greys some days if its windy one can duck in there and go to calmer waters our of the wind.

    Default Where to stay

We was down there last April and stayed at Cypress Point. The weather was bad but we enjoyed it anyway. The people was great and it was a first class operation. We are going back there April 23 24 and 25 this year. The Lakefront resturant across the street is real good also.
