From my recent experience, it seems like Reelfoot is about like Ky Lake, whatever wind they're callin for, double it! You got drag chain or drift sock?

I've got four weather forecasts for Samburg on Saturday, wind from north
14-17 gusts to 21
10-15
10-20
10-20
Tell me, this is just too much for vertical trolling/jigging, ain't it?
I can't afford to waste the gas and the kitchen pass to get frustrated with the wind and get blown around all day.
I've been on the lake in some wind, probably not that much, but that was in the trees catchin' brim. Not sure about crappie fishing in this stuff.
some feedback please! I got a boat-less buddy who is pushing me for a ride!
If we can get a bit out of the wind on a northern spot, might go if it is worth it. I am worried about how muddy and high the water might be too...

Joe, Stay home and come in April, that's the best month here anyway for crappie. The lake is rough and white capping right now, plus the bite is not that good after all the bad rain we've had.
I live here and I won't fish with it like this, it's not worth your life.
Good Luck............crappie cowboy
Heard that...Big Sandy was no joke today either. Surfed a few waves going in to the ramp.
The Hound
after yesterday I really know why I like my big boat. Wow. I am still kind of seasick.
