Fished yesterday from about 1-5pm and caught some good fish in 6-12 ft of water. The water temp was 56 and they had moved into structure on the banks that they normally occupy later in the spring. Took home a limit with the largest a 13.5 inch male. Too bad the temperature is going to drop drastically over the weekend. Maybe it won't cool the lake down too much.

Yes, Chickamauga is in the Chattanooga area, stretching from Nickajack to Watts Bar. Chickamauga dam is located on hwy 153 in Chattanooga and the reservoir goes north to Spring City in Rhea Co. Good Luck, I mostly fish the Harrison Bay area and where the Hiwassee river enters into the TN river between Dayton and Cleveland.
Your post bring back memories. I lived in Chattanooga from 83 until 99. I actually lived in Soddy Daisy by Pine Harbor marina. Kept my boat there and loved to fish it.

One of my fishing buddies lives in Soddy-Daisy...and has been killing the
crappie all winter on Chickamauga. He's had many more crappie there than
I have in southcentral Florida. Maybe this snowbird should stay home!
